The Big Flood

Yesterday there was a huge flood.

It was very noisy.

It was on the news, and they shut the road from Picton to Blenheim.

Some People got evacuated from there houses.

Aliens love underpants

 Mrs Duncan is reading room 5 a story called aliens love underpants.It is about aliens stealing underpants. They have  spaceships and they fly down to earth to steal the underpants.  In the story the aliens use jolly jumpers [pj pants] as slides. The best pants for the aliens are grannys pink bloomers which the aliens wear. Room 5 really like this story and they hope to read it again!

Our new teacher

Mrs Duncan is the best teacher I have had. We have news then we can measure things. I found out the piece of paper was 10 cm wide. It was fun doing it.

We have a new teacher. Her name is Mrs Duncan. Skye says she is an excellent teacher because she teaches interesting things. She only gives us  work we can do. Mrs Duncan helps us get ideas for our stories.

The Flood

Yesterday there was a flood. The roads were closed. It was raining so hard.

Cross Country practice!!!

We have had Cross Country practice for the start of term fitness ! When we line up for the Cross Country room 3 goes first then room 5 then room 2 then room 1 goes last.We run around the block for practice for our real Cross Country!!! Some people run,some people jog and some people briskly walk.We haven't been practicing for a long time because of the rain!! Some people like Cross Country and some people don't . In the end we all enjoy it!!!   

Learning To Blog

On the 31st of July Zak,Stacey and Matthew play some awesome maths games .Zak's favourite game was rhyme adventure he had lots of fun. Stacey favourite game was sleep to school she really enjoyed it . And finally Matthew was enjoying a cool game of snakes and ladders!
